York Electronics (YEL) provides warranty and non-warranty repairs to radios, instrument panel clusters, and other associated electronic equipment for all General Motors manufactured vehicles including GMC, Chevrolet, Hummer, Pontiac, Buick, Oldsmobile, Saturn, SAAB, Isuzu. In addition, YEL is also the authorized remanufacturing facility for John Deere radios. Using state of the art diagnostic equipment and qualified technicians, YEL has the capability and capacity to re-manufacture products that meet or exceed the original equipment manufacturers specifications.

WARRANTY REPAIRS

Repair or replacement of units that are still under GM warranty must be performed by an authorized General Motors dealer. The dealer will assist in diagnosis of the fault and the removal and re-installation of the defective unit thus guaranteeing no damage is done to other electronic components in the vehicle.

NON-WARRANTY REPAIRS

YEL maintains a stock of out of warranty replacement products. All re-manufactured products carry a limited one year replacement warranty. Although it is not a strict requirement to take your vehicle to a General Motors dealer for out of warranty repairs, it is recommended. YEL cannot troubleshoot electronic components while they are still in the vehicle and we do not have on-site removal and replacement facilities.
